The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has announced that five golfers from Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall have been selected to the 2021-22 Division II WGCA All-America Scholar Team.
Among those named to the team was Anneke Weg, a native of Worthington. Weg had a GPA of 3.87 in biology. She finished with an 85.3 average in 15 rounds during the 2021-22 season. Also named to the team for the Mustangs were juniors Natalie Bohnert, Sally Gallagher and Sydney Noel, as well as sophomore Jacqueline Gossen. A total of 1,485 women golfers in Division I, II, and III earned the honor. The criteria for selection to the All-Scholar Team include a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average following the 2021 fall semester.
