The Worthington Junior American Legion baseball team, which has been idle for the last several days, will return to the diamond tonight to start a stretch of five games in four days.
Worthington currently has a record of 7-2 in conference play and 8-4 overall following its 20-4 win over Adrian on Thursday, June 30. Worthington will play its final conference contest of the season tonight when it travels to Minneota.
On Friday, Worthington will begin play in a tournament in Alexandria. There will be two matchups on Friday – at 6 p.m. against Blaine and 8 p.m. against Alexandria. On Saturday, Worthington will meet South Ridge at 3:30 p.m. Sunday’s opponent and time is to be determined.
