As the family continues to heal, many have contacted them as well as other like myself in asking of ways to contribute to the extended Johnson Families without having to use GoFundMe. It’s a great platform but doesn’t give 100% to families.

So I asked the family if it was ok for us to help especially with the area business community to contribute. Many businesses maybe don’t have the cash funds to donate, but definitely have the goods or services to make a huge impact.

Here we have it. Radio Works, along with our Online partner we have used for 12 years Big Deals Media are conducting a family benefit sale/auction with 100% of all proceeds going directly to the family members of the Johnson, Rossow, Hanson, Hargus, and Ambrose families. We have their blessing on this.

So now it’s up to you local, regional, and area businesses to contribute what you can or what you want. Then on April 17th we will sell certificates for your goods or services or on specific items, auction them to the highest bid. Then Radio Works will send all of the certificates for each item to the respective buyers and 100% of the dollars raised in that directly to the family. They will use the funds as needed for memorial services or however they feel.

All will happen on our Radio Works Website on the Big Deals Tab and you’ll find “ACCIDENT BENEFIT JOHNSON FAMILY” the items will officially go on sale at 6am April 17th. Some will be “Buy it now”, and some will be “Auction Items” that will require bids. All Auction items will end at 6pm Central time. All sales will be final and EVERY DOLLAR will go to the family Radio Works will cover 100% of the processing fees as well.

Radio Works has done this large scale in the past raising over $250,000 for local businesses during COVID shutdowns with our Certificates of Stability and are ready now to help this dear family after the tragic accident that claimed 4 of their family members and injured several others. Together, we as Community members will help get them through this.
