A Westbrook woman died Saturday as the result of a one-vehicle crash in Murray County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2017 Ford F-50 operated by Keith Arthur Carey, 77, of Westbrook was southbound on Woodman Avenue when it left the roadway at the intersection with Minnesota 30 in Dovray Township. The crash was reported at 1:46 p.m. Saturday.
Marilyn Kay Carey, 71, a passenger in the vehicle, was transported to Westbrook Hospital and died as a result of the crash. Keith Carey sustained non-life-threatening injuries; he was also taken to Westbrook Hospital.
Assisting at the scene were Dovray First Responders, Westbrook Fire and Ambulance and the Murray County Sheriff’s Office.
