The Southwest Minnesota Fishing Club has announced that it will not be hosting any tournaments this summer as a result of decreased board membership.

The club posted on its Facebook page that it will leave memberships optional for people who would like to help keep the club going. It still hopes to fulfill its pledge to the new fish-cleaning shack. Payments can be sent to the club at P.O. Box 4, Worthington.

There are plans to still have The Otter Memorial fishing event, but details need to be determined. People with interest or concerns can reach out the club’s Facebook page via private message.
