A Friday crash in Windom sent one person to the hospital.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado operated by Matthew Michael Adrian, 34 of Mountain Lake and a 2006 Volvo semi operated by Teklay Hagdu, age 42 of Sioux City, Iowa, were both southbound on U.S. 71 when they collided in the road. The crash was reported at 3:03 p.m. Friday.
Adrian sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and was taken by ground ambulance to Windom Area Health. The Windom Ambulance, Windom Police Department and Cottonwood County Sheriff's Office all assisted at the scene.
