Sibley-Ocheyedan’s Madison Brouwer has qualified for two events for the 2023 Drake Relays.
The Drake Relays is an outdoor track and field event hosted in Des Moines, Iowa, on the campus of Drake University. It’s regarded as one of the top track and field events in the United States and is billed as America’s Athletic Classic.
Brouwer will compete in the girls 800 meters at 1:41 p.n. on Friday. Only the top 16 in all classes qualify in the state of Iowa. She’ll also compete in the girls 1500 meters at 4:39 p.m. Saturday. Only the top 21 in all classes qualify in the state.
