WHS played host to St. Peter in a softball game at the Minnesota West field and was defeated 16-4.

St. Peter tallied seven runs in the top of the third inning to move ahead 11-0. The Trojans got on the scoreboard in the bottom of that inning when Leah Nelson singled, advanced on a perfect Anna Gordon sacrifice bunt and came home on a Macie Mahlberg RBI single, her second hit of the game. Worthington would threaten to add more, but got a tough break when Breeta Johnson lined into a double play with the bases loaded to end the inning.
