Volleyball camp to be hosted July 30 at Okabena High School

Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Coyote Volleyball is hosting an All Skills Camp on Thursday, July 30.

The camp is being put on by former HL-O/F volleyball standout Samantha Untiedt, who is entering her junior season with the University of South Dakota. She played her sophomore season last fall at USD, and prior to that saw limited action in her freshman year at the University of Louisville, which finished as the Division I runner-up. In high school, among her multiple achievements was getting named to the AAU National All-American team in 2023. Also in 2023, she was named to both the Minnesota All-State Team and All-State Academic Team in Class A.

The camp is open to youths in grades five through 12. Session 1, for fifth- and sixth-graders, will be from noon to 2 p.m., while Session 2 for seventh- through ninth-graders will be from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Session 3 -- for incoming sophomores, juniors and seniors — will be from 5 to 7 p.m.

The camp will be hosted at Okabena High School, and the registration fee is $45. To register, email samanthauntiedt19@gmail.com.
