WRHCF awards Dorothy Rutgers Memorial Scholarship, others

The Worthington Regional Health Care Foundation announces that Tara Porter, a registered nurse at Sanford Worthington, has been selected as the 2026 recipient of the $2,500 Dorothy Rutgers Memorial Scholarship.

Porter is pursuing her bachelor of science in nursing degree at Western Governor’s University.

The foundation has also awarded eight $2,000 Health Care Professional Scholarships. Recognized with scholarships were: Grace Barber, Erika Fuentes, Karla Resendiz, Danika Norby, Millie Sigala, Chantel Peralta, Natya Khamphanh and Javier Aldana.
