The Worthington Esports Valorant Team has earned the chance to complete at the first-ever Minnesota State Official High School Esport Tournament.
The Worthington team attended the Minnesota Varsity League playoffs hosted Friday at Minnesota State University Mankato. Out of 28 teams, only six – including Worthington – qualified.
The state championship event will take place June 4 at the Mall of America. Members of the team are: Edgar Méndez Ochoa, Alexander Reum, Antony Quintanilla, Cristina Magaña, Omar Robles, Mir Gossom and Kaw Tha Blay. The coach is William Merida Díaz.
