The WHS boys soccer team defeated Marshall for the second time this season Thursday, as the Trojans won on the road 3-1.

Worthington head coach Juan Flores commented that his team didn't play very well in the first half, as it had trouble connecting passes and was kept in the match by its defense. All three Trojan goals came in the second half, as Cristobal Lopez, Eiby Martin and Danny Banegas each scored.

Flores said the team played better in the second half but needs to be more consistent. WHS, now 7-3, is back in action Saturday afternoon at Willmar.
