Three people were taken to the hospital in Marshall following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2020 Hyundai Elantra operated by Isaiah Kenneth Werner, 23, of Granite Falls was westbound on Minnesota 19 and a 2007 Peterbilt operated by Chad Eugene Gilbertson, 43, of Leota was northbound on Minnesota 23. The vehicles were traveling in snowy/;icy conditions and collided in the intersection. The crash was reported at 11:38 a.m. Wednesday.
Three passengers in the Hyundai -- Harley Rae Brown, 18, of Marshall, Mataya Rose Paradis, 21, of Marshall, and a 2-year-old boy from Marshall -- were all taken to Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Werner and Gilbertson were both unhurt.
The Lyon County Sheriff's Office and Marshall Police Department assisted at the scene.
