The Big South Conference Boys Hockey All-Conference Team was recently released and the state-qualifying Luverne Cardinals tied for top honors with six players represented.
Earning recognition on the first team for Luverne were juniors Tyler Arends, Patrick Kroski and Owen Sundenga and senior Brock Behrend. Selected as honorable mention picks for the Cardinals were sophomore Blaik Bork and junior Eliot Domagala.
Nine individuals besides the four Luverne players were named to the All-Conference first team. They include junior Talan Plante and sophomore Owen Renslow of Marshall, senior Jack Albrecht and juniors Kaden Larson and Austin Uecker of New Ulm, seniors Kyle Ahlschlager and Griffin Krautkremer of Waseca and seniors Brady Espsenson and Cragen Porath of Windom Area.
Additional honorable mention selections were senior Sean Nwaiga of Marshall, senior Blake Soukup and juniors Bryer Hoffman and Bryer Lang of New Ulm, and Wriley Haugen of Windom Area. No players from Worthington, Fairmont or Redwood Valley were chosen for all-conference honors.
