Sioux Falls Mayor Paul TenHaken, formerly of Worthington, is running for a second term.
TenHaken announced his bid for re-election during an event at 2 p.m. Monday at the bike trail at the Eighth Street Bridge in Sioux Falls. The next election is in April 2022.
In an email from a personal account on Sunday to multiple media outlets, TenHaken stated he would be making a "special announcement" on Monday. He added that would reserve any further comment until the event.
