Several area wrestlers earn All-Big South honors

A number of wrestlers from around the area have been named to the Big South Conference Wrestling All-Conference Team.

Worthington wrestlers named to the team were junior Oscar Galvez, freshman Alex Galvez, and seniors Cole Hennings and Tanner Hennings. Ten wrestlers from Jackson County Central earned selections, including: Nolan Ambrose, Kie Anderson, Logan Butzon, Thomas Freking, Payton Handevidt, Matt Haley, Caleb Vancura, Dylan Withers, Will Freking and Cameron Scholten.

Five Pipestone wrestlers made the team, including Hudson Burnett, Davis Budden, Brayden Burmeister, JJ Martens and Nate Bobendrier. Marshall’s honorees included Dylan Louwagie, Tate Condezo, Landon Marthaler and Tucker Fiene. Also making the team were Braydon Ripka of Luverne and Micah Holmberg of Windom/Mountain Lake.
