The Minnesota State Veterans Home in Luverne has been recognized as a “Best Nursing Home” for 2024, according to U.S. News & World Report magazine.
U.S. News evaluated more than 15,000 nursing homes while completing research. Only 19% of U.S. skilled nursing facilities earned the “Best Nursing Home” designation this year.
U.S. News Long-Term Care Ratings reflect the scores achieved by eligible nursing homes as their staff care for people in need of daily assistance with medical and non-medical needs. The data used to evaluate these homes come from the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and include metrics of infection rates, staffing levels, reliance on antipsychotic drugs, health inspection results and more.
