Viper, a Jackson County Sheriff's Department K-9 officer, has been nominated for this year’s Aftermath K9 grant.
Aftermath will be giving out $25,000 in grants to K9 units across the country this year. The grant amount to each K9 unit is determined by the number of votes from members of the community. Each person can vote one time each day until Oct. 26.
