Nobles County has a finalist for Princess Kay of the Milky way

A Bigelow girl will represent Nobles County as one of 10 finalists for the 73^rd Princess Kay of the Milky Way.

Stephanie Dykstra, the daughter of Steve and Esther Dykstra, is one of the 10 finalists. She and the others submitted an application, participated in a professional interview, prepared and delivered a speech and participated in a mock media interview. Princess Kay candidates are judged on their general knowledge of the dairy industry, communication skills and enthusiasm for promoting dairy.

The competition will be in late August and the winner announced during the Minnesota State Fair.
