A fan bus for the Worthington Trojans boys soccer team’s state Class AA quarterfinal soccer match on Thursday in Eden Prairie will leave the WHS student lot at 1:30 p.m. that day.
Seats are $10, and the deadline to sign up in the WHS Main office is 4 p.m. Wednesday. All students in grades K-8 must have an adult with them for supervision. State ticket prices for the quarterfinals are adults, $12 and students, $8. Tickets must be purchased online at www.mshsl.org/tickets. People cannot purchase tickets at the gate.
WHS will be sending off its state boys soccer team at 10:50 a.m. Thursday in the high school gym. Fans are welcome to stop by and wish the team good luck. The team bus will parade by the middle school, Learning Center, intermediate school and Prairie Elementary at noon.
The Trojans, seeded fourth in the state tourney, take on fifth-seeded DeLaSalle at 5:30 p.m. Thursday. The winner will play in the state semifinals on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
