The Minnesota West football team had been scheduled to host Vermillion Saturday afternoon at Trojan Field, but that game will not be played.
Vermillion has forfeited that game to the Bluejays, it was announced Thursday morning. Minnesota West is currently scheduled for a bye week for the weekend of Oct. 8-9, but an opponent is now being sought as the Jays have played at home just once so far this season.

The Minnesota West volleyball team swept past visiting Sisseton Wahpeton College on Wednesday night by game scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-9.
Kennedy Buckneberg led the way for the Lady Jays with 12 kills. Kiarra Danielson contributed five kills, 14 set assists and 16-for-18 serving with five aces. Katarina Polzine added 10-for-10 serving with three aces, and Hattie DeVries had eight kills and four blocks.
