The Worthington Trojans will open play in the Section 2AAA Baseball Tournament tonight when they play at Marshall.
The Trojans, who concluded the season with an overall record of 3-17, are the No. 8 seed in the tourney, while the 19-5 Tigers are the section's No. 1 seed. Game time is 6 p.m. at Legion Field in Marshall.
The winner will play the victor of a matchup between No. 4 seed New Ulm and No. 5 seed Albert Lea. That next-round game is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at New Ulm's Johnson Park. The Trojans-Tigers loser will also play Saturday in New Ulm at a time to be determined.
