Worthington received nine inches of snow over the course of the past two days, according to measurements recorded at the city's Wastewater Treatment plant.
An initial total of 4 inches of snow was measured Monday morning, and five inches was measured early Tuesday. Additionally, a half-inch of snow was recorded Sunday morning at the plant.
The new snowfall also represented the first precipitation of the month at .42 inches.
There's a chance of snow showers on Wednesday, the National Weather Service indicates, and then temperatures are expected to plummet. Looking ahead to Sunday, the forecast high is predicted to be minus-12, with a low of minus-20.
