A “Suds 'N Stories” event coordinated by the Worthington Elks Lodge will take from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Laundry on 10th in Worthington.
The Worthington Elks have received a grant to provide free laundry for individuals who could use this type of assistance. Individuals will receive two free loads per person, and this includes drying. Elks members will be on hand to insert coins in the machines.
There will also be books on hand for young children to read as well as interactive games and coloring books they may take home. People may obtain tickets for “Suds 'N Stories” at the Southwest Crisis Center, Kivu Immigration Law and Helping Hand Pregnancy Center, or call Susanne Murphy at (507) 360-6699.
