Woman found dead at Edgerton residence; male in custody

A male is in custody after a female was found dead inside a home in Edgerton, according to the Pipestone County Sheriff's Office.

Law enforcement in Pipestone County responded shortly before noon Saturday to a report of domestic assault in the 800 block of First Avenue West in Edgerton. Deputies took "a male suspect" into custody and located a deceased female inside the home, according to the sheriff's office.

Details on the victim and the suspect, such as their ages and names, had yet to be released.
