The Worthington Trojans baseball team traveled to Jordan to play a game moved up from its originally scheduled date of Friday. The Trojans were again undone by errors and missed opportunities on defense as they were defeated by the Hubmen, 10-1.
Matthias Noble – who WHS head coach Steve Robinson called “the best hitter I’ve seen in the league this year,” went 3-for-3 with a single, double and triple while driving in the lone Trojan run. Worthington, which is 3-6, will now be idle until Tuesday, when it plays at Marshall.
