One person was injured as the result of a two-vehicle crash late Tuesday afternoon in Cottonwood County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2020 Freightliner semi operated by Jeremy Lea Brewer, 41, of Leander, Texas was eastbound on Minnesota 60 and a 2021 Ford Ranger operated by Matthew Judd Dammann, 60, of Waconia was turning onto eastbound Minnesota 60 from eighth street in Bingham Lake when the two vehicles collided in the intersection. The crash was reported at 5:58 p.m. Tuesday.
Dammann was transported to Windom Area Health with non-life-threatening injuries, while Brewer was unhurt. The incident report indicates that Dammann has been consuming alcohol. The Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office and Windom Police Department, Fire Department and Ambulance responded to the scene.
