Early-morning Murray County crash results in injuries to two people

Two people were injured early Monday morning in a crash on U.S. 59 in Murray County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2021 Lexus RX operated by Sara Marie Ormberg, 45, of Marshall was northbound on U.S. 59 and a 2024 Subaru Crosstrek operated by Romana Lee Ennenga, 71, of Currie was westbound on 231st Street when the vehicles collided in the intersection. The crash took place at 6:56 in Lake Sarah Township.
Ormberg and a 16-year old female passenger were both taken to Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Ennenga was unhurt. The Murray County Sheriff's Office, Slayton Fire Department, Tracy Ambulance and Garvin First Responders assisted at the scene.

A Windom woman was injured in a crash shortly after midnight Saturday in Jackson County.
The State Patrol reported that a 2003 Oldsmobile Bravada operated by Kasidee Anne Glidden-Buck, 22, of Windom was northbound on U.S. 71 in snow/ice conditions when it lost control and rolled in the west ditch at 850th Street. The crash took place 12:05 a.m. Saturday in Belmont Township.
Glidden-Buck was taken to Sanford Jackson Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office and Jackson County Ambulance assisted at the scene.
