A 17-year old Jeffers female was injured as a result of a rollover crash Monday morning in Cottonwood County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2004 Ford Ranger operated by Ella Rebecca Nickel, 17, of Jeffers, was traveling northbound on U.S. 71 in snowy and icy conditions when it left the roadway and rolled. Nickel, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to Windom Area Health with a non-life-threatening injury. The crash was reported at 10:16 a.m. Monday from milepost 39 of U.S. 71, north of Windom.
The Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
