Tech Day to be hosted March 3 at Minnesota West in Jackson

Minnesota West Community & Technical College invites all interested high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to Tech Day from 9 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3 at the Jackson campus.

This free, hands-on, interactive event gives students the opportunity to explore a wide range of high-paying, high-demand career paths, including: automotive technology; cosmetology; electrician; nursing; peace officer; powerline technology; teacher education pathways; and welding.

Participants will experience real tools, equipment and simulations while connecting with instructors and exploring what a future in these in-demand fields could look like. Tech Day is designed to be fun, engaging, and informative for students considering careers in technical and skilled trade industries.
