The fifth annual RunB4Wine 5K will take place Sept. 26 at Round Lake Vineyards & Winery.
RunB4Wine supports parents of children staying at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital through the Big Brave Benjamin Bruce fund. To date, the fund has given more than $25,000.
The U of M Masonic Children's Hospital Big Brave Benjamin Bruce pediatric ICU fund was started in memory of baby Benjamin Bruce Raudenbush. One hundred percent of the RunB4Wine 5K event fee goes directly to the Big Brave Benjamin Bruce fund, and 100% of the fund goes directly to families.
Registration includes a glass of wine and a long-sleeve RunB4Wine Round Lake Vineyards & Winery T-shirt. The 5K is not an officially time event, but medals are rewarded to first-place male/female in three age categories.
The 5K start time is 11 a.m. Check-in and in-person registration begins at 10 a.m., and all are welcome to attend a worship service at 9:30 a.m.
