Radio Works will host benefit sale and auction for crash families

Radio Works, along with Big Deals Media, is conducting a family benefit sale/auction with 100% of all proceeds going directly to the family members of the Johnson, Rossow, Hanson, Hargus, and Ambrose families that were affected by last month's fatal Cottonwood County crash.

Radio Works has received the family's blessing for this effort. It’s now up to local and area businesses to contribute what they can or what they want. Then, on April 17th, Radio Works will sell certificates for those goods or services, or — on specific items -- auction them to the highest bid. Radio Works will then send all of the certificates for each item to the respective buyers and 100% of the dollars raised in that directly to the family. They will use the funds as needed for memorial services or however they feel.

This benefit will take place on the Radio Works Website on the Big Deals Tab under “ACCIDENT BENEFIT JOHNSON FAMILY.” The items will officially go on sale at 6 a.m. April 17th. Some will be “Buy it now”, and some will be “Auction Items” that will require bids. All auction items will end at 6 p.m. Central time. All sales will be final, and every dollar will go to the family. Radio Works will also cover 100% of the processing fees as well.

Radio Works has done this large scale in the past, as it raised more than $250,000 for local businesses during COVID shutdowns with its Certificates of Stability.
