Jackson County Central Middle School saw an investigation involving law enforcement Friday afternoon into the evening.
A press release from the school stated the district followed protocol on potential threats, but no immediate danger was recognized. The district added that it did not believe that students were in danger, but noted law enforcement will be present on the campus into this week.
JCC also thanked law enforcement for being supportive toward the schools. No further information was available on Friday afternoon's incident.
