A Mankato man was hurt as a result of a one-vehicle crash Thursday night in Cottonwood County.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2007 Hyundai Sonata operated by Parker Timothy Halldin, 27, was southbound on U.S. 71 in Great Bend Township when it left the roadway and struck the field approach on the east side of the highway. The crash took place at 11:23 p.m.
Halldin was transported to Windom Area Health with a non-life-threatening injury. The state patrol reported that alcohol was involved in the incident.
The Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office, Windom Fire Department and Windom Ambulance assisted at the scene.
