The Rushmore Fire Department responded early Monday afternoon to a structure fire in the 20000 block of 260th Street.
Rushmore Fire Chief Brent Peterson explained Tuesday that an outbuilding and a nearby camper were both total losses as a result of the fire. Firefighters had been dispatched at 12:13 p.m. Monday to the site, and Peterson said they remained on the scene for approximately one hour.
There were no injuries resulting from the fire, which Peterson believed to be electrical in nature.
