One individual was taken to an area hospital following a late Sunday afternoon crash on U.S. 59.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix operated by Adam Brian Welling, 31, of Fulda, was traveling northbound on U.S. 59 in Slayton Township when it left the roadway and rolled. The crash was reported at 5:22 p.m. Sunday.
Welling, the lone occupant of the vehicle, was transported to Murray County Medical Center in Slayton with non-life-threatening injuries. The State Patrol reports he was not wearing his seat belt. The Murray County Sheriff’s Office, Slayton Police Department, and Murray County Fire Department and Ambulance all assisted at the scene.
