A California man was injured in a Sunday afternoon motorcycle crash on Interstate 90.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2007 Honda MC operated by Kurt Axel Bartenwerfer, 67, of Ottawa, Calif. was eastbound on I-90 when a gust of wind caused the motorcycle to lose control, resulting in a collision with the center median. The crash took place at 5:20 p.m. near milepost 60 in Jackson County's Rost Township.
Barternwerfer was transported to Sanford Worthington Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury. The Jackson County Sheriff's Office and the Lakefield Fire Department and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
