Noah Gravenhof given Spirit of Molly Clarke Award

Nobles County 4-H members and community supporters gathered earlier this month at the Nobles County Fair for the second annual Spirit of Molly Clarke Award presentation.

Because of the support of Nutrien Ag Solutions, one youth member was awarded $500 to choose how to reinvest into the Nobles County 4-H program. The 2024 Spirit of Molly Clake monetary award winner was Noah Gravenhof.

Gravenhof was recognized for helping younger 4Hers with various elements of the county fair. Noted was his ability to be supportive to youths wanting to show sheep and beef. He has shared his time to help others grow and develop their 4-H skills. During the school year, Gravenhof participated in the brand-new Ag Ed leaders program that impacted nearly 300 youths in local schools.

Twenty-four youths were nominated for the award. Molly Clarke’s family was present for the award ceremony and her sister, Mara, helped read the nominations. Youths were nominated for a variety of unique reasons. Some were recognized for their help with younger members learning about animal project areas. Many were nominated for their positive attitudes in their many 4-H activities.
