The Worthington Community Football Club Los Toros ran its unbeaten streak to five matches over the weekend while also remaining unscored upon thus far.
Los Toros earned swept their home matches both Friday and Saturday, defeating CB Captains FC 7-0 and then blanking the Reapers FC 3-0 the next day to improve to 4-0-1 on the season.
In Friday's victory, it was Carlos Castillo and Jorge Velasquez pacing the offense with two goals apiece. Pablo Martin, Ahmed Yusuf and Miguel Moreno also scored.
On Saturday, Castillo had two more goals for Los Toros and Moreno the other. Los Toros next play at the Sioux Falls Thunder FC on May 10.

Minnesota West's baseball team dropped a pair of games at home to Century College on Friday and then lost twice more at Century on Saturday to wrap up the season.
The Bluejays fell by scores of 9-5 and 12-1 on Friday. Eliecer Gonzalez went 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBIS in the opener, and Ales Zhao drove in the lone run in game two.
Saturday's scores were 13-2 and 11-0; no statistics were immediately available. Minnesota West ends its spring with a 15-28 record.

The Worthington Trojans girls golf team finished third out of 12 competing schools in a meet in Fairmont Friday afternoon. Blue Earth Area came out on top with a team total of 374 strokes; WHS finished at 388.
Junior Claire Meyer led the Trojans and placed third overall among individuals for the second straight meet with a score of 91. Seventh-grader Greta Mahlberg was eighth overall at 93. Other counting scores for Worthington came from Ava Schutz (100) and Giselle Deleon (104).
The Trojan boys golf team was also in Fairmont and tied for seventh among 13 teams at 348. St. Peter was first at 299.
Junior Tyson Petersen had the low round for WHS at 85, which put him in 21st overall. Other counting scores came from Cameron Krommendyk (87), Gerrit Larson (90) and Hunter Heitkamp (91).

In high school baseball Friday, Adrian-Ellsworth overcame a 4-1 deficit by scoring six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to top Worthington 7-4.
The Dragons got just five hits in the game, with three coming from Travis Weiss. Garrett Penning had the other two hits and drove in two runs. A-E, whose six-run rally came with just two hits, had Zach Madison got the win on the mound with 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief.
Dominic Pavelko had three singles for the Trojans and Austin Gruis had two. The Dragons are now 8-2; WHS is 2-9.
