The Worthington Community Football Club Toros successfully prolonged Saturday their undefeated streak and their unscored-upon streak.
Los Toros dominated the first half with six goals as they finished their home match at Trojan Field with a 6-0 triumph over Heartland United FC. Scoring for Worthington were Tim Berger — who had two in the game — as well as Tomas Estrada, Marc Hernandez and Vitor Pereira; Los Toros also benefitted from an own goal.
Meanwhile, in improving to 6-0-1 on the season, Worthington still hasn't surrendered a goal all year — a streak that now spans 630 minutes. Goalkeeper Adrian Flores' dramatic late save preserved the defensive run.
Los Toros next plays at Club Atletico Omaha on Saturday.
