Just one clue is all it took for this year's King Turkey Day medallion hunt.

This year's finders are Kiara Castaneda and Julio Ordaz. They found the medallion at one of the horseshoe pit stations next to the big checkerboard at Chautauqua Park.

The first medallion hunt clue, revealed at 6 a.m. Monday, was:

Some journeys begin with history instead of a map

A traveler who follows the familiar road may never reach the destination

Unless they choose the drive instead.

Clues were prepared to be given daily throughout the week. They are as follows:

Day 2: The friendship still lives today, pointing history in more than one direction

One path is meant for travelers

The other invites you to stay and play.

Day 3: A king is judged by the court he keeps

Some come to listen

While some come to compete

The medallion awaits the one who earned it.

Day 4: The difference between winning and losing is often just one move.

The wisest players think beyond the obvious ...

especially when a king stands nearby.

Day 5: Only shoes fit for a king belong to his horse

Close only counts for those who know the game.

The medallion awaits just beyond the stake.

The winners will receive Chamber bucks from FORWARD Worthington as a prize. We'll have more later on how the medallion was located by its finders.
