Kaleb Knothe, the goalkeeper on the Worthington High School boys soccer team, is this week’s Radio Works Athlete of the Week. Knothe recorded three saves on penalty kicks in the Trojans’ overtime shootout win Tuesday over Mankato East as WHS advanced to the state Class AA tournament for the third straight year.
The Radio Works Athlete of the Week is being brought to you by Leading Edge Credit Union, federally insured by NCUA with locations in Worthington, Jackson, Fulda and Windom. Each recipient will be recognized with a Radio Works Athlete of the Week T-shirt as well as recognition on our social media pages. Athletes will be recognized from schools that include Worthington, Round Lake-Brewster, Jackson County Central, Heron Lake-Okabena, Fulda, Sibley-Ocheyedan, Adrian-Ellsworth and Minnesota West.
