The Community Image committee of FORWARD Worthington, a collaboration of the Worthington Area Chamber of Commerce, Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, and Worthington Regional Economic Development Corporation, have announced the winners of their Holiday Lighting Contest sponsored by RE/MAX Premier Realty of Worthington and Worthington Public Utilities. The contest is an annual event that aims to recognize the top residential holiday lighting displays in Worthington.
Community Image committee members each took a section of Worthington and nominated the best display in their section. Nominee pictures are then presented in a public vote on the FORWARD Worthington Facebook page. The three nominees with the most votes are awarded FORWARD Worthington Chamber Checks and a credit on their utility bill from Worthington Public Utilities.
The 2023 winners are: 1st Place-1822 S. Shore Dr. ($100 in Chamber Checks and a $100 credit), 2nd Place-1932 Cedar Ave. ($75 in Chamber Checks and a $75 credit), and 3rd Place-804 Omaha Ave. ($50 in Chamber Checks and a $50 credit).
