Comment period on data centers ends at 4 p.m. Friday

Friday marks the final day of the public comment period pertaining to the location of data centers in Nobles County.

The Nobles County Planning and Zoning Commission recommended Feb. 4 that there be no change to the county's zoning ordinance for data centers, meaning that it would not allow for data centers to apply for location anywhere in the agricultural preservation area of the county. Geronimo Power aims to construct a data center in the county.

The public comment period is open to 4 p.m. today. All comments must be submitted in writing to the Nobles County Public Works office at 960 Diagonal Road, faxed to (507) 372-8348 or e-mailed to khenderschiedt@co.nobles.mn.us.
