The Worthington City Council’s annual meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Monday in the council chambers at City Hall.
Annual meeting items such as the election of the mayor pro tem and committee appointments for council members are included on the agenda. Other scheduled business includes consideration of a change order for the parking lot at Sunset Park, the receiving of reports and potential ordering of hearings for a planned Church Avenue and Second Avenue reconstruction project, and consideration of a change of zone for property located at the northeast corner of Sherwood Street and East Avenue from ‘B-3’ General Business District to ‘R-4’ Medium Density Residential.
