Bluejay soccer team set for last match of regular season

The Minnesota West men's soccer team will host its regular season finale at 6 p.m. Wednesday night against Riverland.
The Bluejays, who didn't record a victory during the 2022 season, are 7-3-2 this fall. In their most recent outing, Minnesota West won on the road Saturday at Alexandria Technical & Community College by a score of 4-0.
Against Alexandria, Anton Cordes scored a pair of goals while also contributing an assist. Cordes leads the Bluejays in goals so far this season with 12.
Prince Lebbi added a goal and assist in Saturday's win, as did Edgar Carillo. Lebbi has scored eight goals on the year for Minnesota West, while Carillo has four. Eli Robinson had the shutout in goal, his second this fall.

Worthington High School senior Addison Gerber will be recognized during Tuesday night's home volleyball match against Jackson County Central for breaking the school's all-time set assists record.
Gerber totaled 121 set assists over the course of five matches during tournament play in Marshall this weekend.
Madison Beckmann had 40 kills and Janessa Hamann added 38 kills to top the Trojans offensively in Marshall, where the team went 2-3 overall.
