Yearly annual event (as well as a new one) planned at Worthington's Y

The Worthington Area YMCA will host the annual All Comers Track Meet next Monday, Aug. 3 at Trojan Field.

This free community event is open to youth ages 2-14 and is a fun opportunity for kids of all ability levels to experience track and field in a welcoming, encouraging environment. Kids are encouraged to bring their running shoes and join for an evening of fun, fitness. and friendly competition.

Day-of registration begins at 5:00 p.m., with the first events starting at 5:30 p.m.

In another upcoming Worthington Area YMCA activity, a Strong Community Corn Roast is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 16. People may enjoy a triathlon, a delicious sweet corn meal, a cornhole tournament, bounce houses, live music and more. Attendees will have the opportunity to celebrate community, make memories and support the YMCA’s Strong Community Campaign.
