Basketball, boys hockey tourneys to begin Monday in Windom

It will be a busy day for both high school basketball and boys hockey Monday in Windom.

The two-day Windom Holiday Tournament tips off at 1:30 p.m. Monday with the Worthington boys varsity team taking on Martin County West. Windom will then face BOLD at 3 p.m. In a pair of girls basketball matchups, Martin County West meets Albert Lea at 6 p.m. and Windom meet Alden-Conger/Glenville Emmons at 7:30 p.m. An NBA Skills Challenge and 3-Point Shooting Contest is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, a boys hockey tournament also starts Monday at the Windom Arena. Worthington will face Faribault at 5 p.m. and Windom Area meets Northern Edge at 7 p.m. That tourney also continues on Tuesday.
