All Siouxland Conference Baseball Team announced

Several area athletes were recently named to the 2024 All Siouxland Conference Baseball Team.
Unanimous first team selections include Brooks McCarty of MOC-Floyd Valley, Hunter Van Zee of Sioux Center and Braden Bosma of Unity Christian. MOC-Floyd Valley had three additional first team picks: Kaleb Koerselman, Kris Diehl and Blake Aalbers. West Lyon also had three first team selections: Ridge Kramer, Tate Hawf and Cooper Schoening.
Among other area baseball players who earned recognition on the All Sioux Conference first team were Sam Christensen and Cooper Den Hartog of Central Lyon, Landon Duvall of Okoboji and Kayne Julius of Sibley-Ocheyedan.
West Lyon had three more members of its squad earn second team recognition: Gage Blauwet, Bryson Childress and Carter Van Meer. Among those also recognized as second-team choices were Roy Blankers of Okoboji and Tyson Getting of Sheldon.
Among the multiple honorable mention athletes picked from the region were Matt Elbert of Central Lyon, Colby Den Hartog of Boyden-Hull/Rock Valley, Issac Wenthe of Sheldon, Akron Jostand of Okoboji and Riley Getzel of Sibley-Ocheyedan.
