WRHCF awards nearly $10K to University of Minnesota Extension

Worthington Regional Health Care Foundation announces that University of Minnesota Extension has been awarded a grant for $9,820 by the foundation.

A check was presented on July 3rd for $9,820 to help support the creation of an additional community garden space in Worthington. This is the second community garden in Worthington, and it will be located behind the Worthington Community Education building. The other such garden is on the Minnesota West Community & Technical College campus in Worthington. A possible third location is being considered for next year.
